The Game Season 5 Premiere: Lot's of Layers with a bit of "The Hangover"

Season 5 of  The Game premiered last night on BET and so I was pretty excited.

I love this show because it's one of the few shows on TV that I can identify with on so many levels especially because a lot of the people on there look like me :). I wish it was actually a mainstream tele show like the Cosbys or Fresh Prince cause it's just such a good show and value to all of society.

Overall it was pretty fun to watch (probably because I'm too biased). The same story lines of Melanie having issue with Derwin's baby mama drama are being extended yadi-yada. Brandy Norwood joined the cast of the cast as Jason Pitts' "real black girl"-interesting...

I wasn't into that whole The Hangover in Mexico opener thing at the beginning but other than that looking forward to another meaningful season!

Bottomline: I'm excited!

Jersey Shore Season Premiere: What's with Vinny?

Okay here's the thing - I watched the Jersey Show season premiere tonight and honestly...wow! I mean it's such a bad bad show right?

I haven't been an avid watcher of this reality show but have watched enough episodes to know my way around. Tonight's season premiere was so disappointing. The only thing that stood out was Vinny. I knew he's close to his family and all but damn! He might need more than Snookie cuddles to get him through the season LOL.

If cable TV doesn't give me options next Thursday at 10pm I just might tune in again.

Big Brother 13 Ep. 1: BB is Back! Crazy Twists!

So Big Brother 13 began tonight and those of you who know me well enough certainly know what that means... I'll be seeing you in 10 weeks :D

On first instincts, my fave pair from the new guests are Shelly + Cassi. They seem down to earth, more like real people and most importantly not too over the top compared to the rest of the guests. From the old guests I love Jeff + Jordan.

The HG who survives eviction wins a “Golden Key” and becomes immune until there are only 10 HGs left. You can no longer put up 2 people you definitely want to leave because 1 is guaranteed safety for several more weeks. Golden Key holders can’t even participate in any competition until they reach the 10-remaining point.
