It's beginning to feel like Christmas!

via

I love this time of year! We got our first snowfall today! I'm beginning to feel all Christmassy and so encourage you all to check out one of my favorite holiday displays at The Bay on Queen St. and Yonge St. here in Toronto.

Kensington

Who doesn’t love Kensington Market?

Who is igor?

Who is igor?

Spotted: Yonge + Dundas

This is the second time in 2 weeks I’ve spotted a bus stop with a jungle on it’s head. Yes I snapped a photo of this siting but the truth is I didn’t even see what the ad was for. The very first time I thought it was a promo for the next Curious George movie. I guess I now have to figure out who Igor is lol!

Have you spotted him at your bus stop lately?

Food, Deals + Fun!

Some highlights over the last day were;
  • Walking to downtown from my place and bumping into a pleasant man who then took a photo of a friend and I outside the Manulife building by Bloor and Church.
  • An Amber Alert - Apparently Jack Astors servers can write upside down. I had a Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich from there with their yummy Sweet Potato Fries.

    • Eglington West...again (you should know by now why I went there). You gotta love a friend who'll sit through your hair appointment with you lol [#patience]
    • Crazy sale at Toronto Gap and finally replaced my jeans. Paid $24 for $80 jeans!!! Go grab yours now!!!
    • A guy I don't know just gave me two passes to the pre-screening of the movie Arthur! #TDotLove It was such an awesome movie!!! The funniest I've watched in ages. 3 minutes didn't go by without the audience laughing so if you want a great laugh and maybe a tear or two- go watch it this Friday.

    Google disappointment

Went to the Google event today. "Get Your Business Online" [GYOB]. The event was hosted at the Boiler House and the Fermenting Cellar in the beautiful Distillery District.

Open bar. Hors d'oeuvres. Anxiously curious room. Savvy room.

This event was quite somewhat a disappointment for most of us. They had O'Leary [Dragon's Den guy] hosting the event and it felt sooooo scripted. I guess we were all hoping for something revolutionary to be launched and not just get free websites [which most business people in the room already have- the people who might have benefited from these free websites likely wouldn't have known about this event].

I love you Google but I know you could've done better than this.

    [At least I met some cool people + yes a goody-bag ;]

    Super Moon

Some friends invited me over today for lunch. The food was well done the company was even better. I really enjoy spending time with these guys. Both of them. They are such a down to earth couple and yet so dynamic. Definitely friends to keep :).

Their condo view is to die for!! They live right by the lake at Harbourfront and have no building blocking them in any direction. To give you a sense, here is a photo taken tonight from their place of the super moon.

Please tell me this isn't breathtaking?
